How to create your own search engine using google ?

Hey!... I was thinking to make my own search engine and after some days i found a way to make it possible using google database . Yes , today we will learn to create own search engine using google . But probably it all thanks to google . Please notedown that we are going to use google ( we don't have our database so results will works according to goolgle search engine mechanism . We are just creating our one webpage in which we will enter data and it will show result in google . )

So in this tutorial we are going to create a our own search engine , actually we will create a web page in which we will add data and it will show google result . First of all let's create simple web page .

STEP - 1

Open any text editor like notepad , notepad++ and copy below code to it and save it with .html extension .

STEP - 2

Now open any browser and press ctrl + o ( open ) and select html file which we have just created . It's Done .

What is Structured Data / Microdata and How to add this in html code to improve search appearance ?

What is Structured Data ?

Output of html code is readable by human but search engines can not understand it . Structured data is bunch of vocabulary which we can use to provide identity to our content which can understand by search engine . So your website appearance in search engine will improve .

Microdata is a set of schema rules which can directly be added to HTML code . It helps search engines to analyze and interpret your websites content more effectively. This also helps search engines to display more meaningful search results .

What is Schema.org ?

Schema.org provides a collection of shared vocabularies webmasters can use to mark up their pages in ways that can be understood by the major search engines: Google, Microsoft, Yandex and Yahoo!

How to add structured data to website or blog ?

Using Google Structured Data Markup Helper

Now let's see first and easy method to provide structured data to your html content . Google provides a free tool called structured Data Markup Helper to add structured data to html code . It is the best way for beginner .

First of all go to Structured Data Markup Helper . It will look like this .

Now select your tag and enter the URL n below given box and hit Start Tagging . In next page it will show you your page ( which link you have entered ) .

Now select text from your page and give it identity . For ex . Name , author , Date_Pblished..etc .now hit Create HTML . It will gives you microdata and JSON-LD . You can chose anyone . Now paste it to your existing site .

In next tutorial i will show how to add structured data manually ( without help of google helper ) very easily .
